Hisense recently launched three new Infinity H smartphones for tech-savvy consumers who want the look and features of a flagship smartphone but at a more pocket-friendly cost. The Infinity H40 is the top of the Hisense Infinity range, and it delivers in spades.
Under the Hood
The Infinity H40 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 Octa-core processor running Android 10, which offers a slick, satisfying experience. On the memory front, it’s packed with 4GB of RAM, which gives you enough horsepower for your apps and even games like Fortnite. In terms of storage space, Hisense has packed the H40 with 128GB, which is sufficient for storing apps, pictures and videos.
Screen and Body
Hisense was serious about making the Infinity H40 a phone to desire by slapping on a 6.53-inch LCD display with FHD+ and a punch hole for the selfie camera. The design features a holographic, reflective feel that is available in Magic Black.
Impressive Cameras
When you think about Hisense, there is a tendency to disregard its smartphone offerings, but the excellent camera on the Infinity H40 should make smartphone photography buffs stand up and take note. The company says it designed its camera for the everyday photographer. It’s fitted with a rear quad-camera system where the main focus is the 48MP lens with AI capability. This is accompanied by a 2MP, 8MP and another 2MP camera for wide angles, depth of field and macro images. The H40 is also perfect for people who love taking selfies with a magnificent front-facing 25MP camera.
Battery Life
Hisense supports the Infinity H40 with a 4,510mAh battery which could last you more than a day - depending on your usage. The H40 has an intelligent power management system that keeps you powered for longer.
Other Features
Since this is the flagship device of this range, Hisense included facial recognition and fingerprint technology to enhance the phone’s security.
Verdict
Competition in the smartphone market is always good. It means there are several options from which to select and you don’t always have to break the bank to own a device that can do pretty much all the cool stuff you need it to do. In this regard, the Hisense H40 is the perfect choice.
